A pet portrait is one of the most personal pieces we’ll ever tattoo. It’s not just an animal — it’s the specific tilt of their ears, the look in their eyes, the dog or cat or rabbit who actually shared your life. We treat every one of these as a portrait first, a tattoo second.
On reference
We ask for a few photos: at least one well-lit headshot, plus a couple that show personality — them sleeping, playing, looking at you. The more we understand who they are, the more honest the tattoo will be.
On style
Most pet portraits land in black & grey or full colour realism, but we also do illustrative and watercolor versions when the mood calls for it. We’ll talk through what suits the photo, the placement, and the feeling you want the piece to carry.
On memorials
Memorial pieces deserve extra time. We don’t rush them. Bring whatever helps — a favourite photo, a date, a name, a small object you’d like incorporated. We’ll design something that feels like a tribute, not just a likeness.
“We don’t tattoo a breed. We tattoo your dog.”
